Leah Yates is a vocalist, songwriter, and music business student at William Paterson University, studying Music with concentrations in Classical Voice and Music and Entertainment Industries. She has always loved performing and creating music, but has grown to love the business and creative sides of the industry as well. Leah is especially interested in music marketing, social media, artist development, and finding creative ways to connect artists with their audiences. She has also developed a love for creating and posting on TikTok as a way to experiment with content and build a brand for herself. One of her biggest role models is Fiona Apple, whose honest songwriting, individuality, and refusal to conform to the industry have inspired Leah to stay true to her own creative identity. She is excited to continue learning and creating while finding her place in this ever evolving industry.
