To celebrate Pride Month, DANE strips it down with a raw and radiant acoustic cover of Chappell Roan’s “Pink Pony Club,” bringing a whole new kind of magic to this queer anthem On The MIC.
Why DANE Rocks:
singer-songwriter from Bloomfield, New Jersey
he grew up singing with his twin sister, Stephanie (dane&stephanie). The duo had been uploading YouTube covers for years, leading up to being on NBC's 'The Voice' in 2019. It was a great experience and allowed DANE to share his story as a transgender man on a wider scale
working on an upcoming EP!
Why DANE Chose "Pink Pony Club"
"I chose to sing "Pink Pony Club" by Chappell Roan because the first time I ever heard this song, it was such a magical and empowering experience. The message of being who you are rings true. I love Chappell's music, so I thought I'd take one of my favorite songs and make it my own."
Happy Pride Month from The MIC Music Group!
