Formed in 2013 by singer, songwriter, and bassist David Sloyan, P-Funk North hails from North Plainfield, New Jersey, bringing a high-energy, lyric-driven sound built around a reggae-rock core. The band’s infectious blend of groove, grit, and hooks has earned them stages alongside heavy hitters like The Offspring, The Wailers, and Slightly Stoopid, with festival appearances sharing bills with 311, Sublime, Cage the Elephant, and Blink-182. Equal parts party-ready and purpose-driven, P-Funk North thrives on big choruses, dynamic rhythms, and a live show that keeps crowds locked in from start to finish.
