The Quivering Palm has a distinct sound and a unique aesthetic, a fusion of indie rock and electronic pop with a hint of madness. Not to be pigeonholed into any genre, TQP stretches alternative music in new directions while keeping solid power-pop sensibilities.

LONG STORY SHORT: This EP serves as the second chapter in the trilogy of The Quivering Palm, where each song leads into the next, always in contrast motion without any stops. This album blurs the boundaries between separate products into a single project. In the end, all the music will form a cohesive 17-track album in one story. At the core of this album, the concept draws inspiration from a long-standing fascination with perpetual motion. As a kid, Kevin “KP” Hahn felt incredibly intrigued by perpetual motion; this curiosity led him to create this piece of art for others to enjoy. Each song is blended with electronic sounds and raw vocals, mixing the two together seamlessly. The piece has a perfect balance of electronic sounds and a punk/rock sound. Upbeat songs like “None Been” help with the pacing of the album as well. The first song, “Baggage,” connects seamlessly to the final track, “Holding On.” In the closing line, “holding on without the fears of yesteryear,” he brings the album full circle, showing growth and closure, and emphasizing that he’s finally moved on from the emotional baggage introduced at the beginning. The project puts life into perspective, showing that life will never stop moving, no matter what direction you choose.
