In the words of Brian Salmon: "Baythorne Days is the record that finally sounds like the band Steven and I always hoped we'd become…"

LONG STORY SHORT: Baythorne Days reflects just how far Jet Lag Motel has come in such a short amount of time, with their debut single “Mexico” surpassing 85,000 views on YouTube within the first week. The magnificent performances by Salmon, Jasik, and Carroll truly shape the band’s sound into something that any musician would be more than proud of; each song carries the same energy and passion as the last through emotion-packed vocals and meticulously crafted backing tracks. Especially with Salmon stepping into a new role as lead and backing vocalist, this project screams progression and evolution for the band. Each track tells a story, with “Sorry” telling the one of Salmon trying to win over the woman who would become his wife, and "I Wanna Know" depicting the complex feelings that tag along when falling in love. From start to finish, this EP remains consistent in quality and authenticity– showing the listener just where the band is headed.
