Francesca Fuentes is a pop/rock singer, songwriter, and author from New Jersey. Graduating from Monmouth University with a degree in English and Creative Writing, she now teaches middle school students at various arts programs across the state. Across campus, she is known for her work with The Blue Hawk Records Group, which featured her on two compilation CDs: After Midnight and Phases. Her first music video for her song “Rock W Me” was awarded Best Film at the 2019 Lovesick Film Festival in Jersey City. She hopes her stories of romance, breakups, mental health, artist angst, and faith help other women and artists who have struggled with their artistic identities. Released on February 7, 2025, her track "I Just Wanna Be Your Lover Again" is making with its music video currently featured on MTV Spankin’ New!

Can't Hide EP was an experimental project that dipped into the commercial side of pop and while my next project turns towards more pop rock and singer/songwriter elements, I am grateful to have done something different with my music. Despite all that has happened with this song, this is really only the beginning.'
LONG STORY SHORT: Francesca Fuentes’s “I Just Wanna Be Your Lover Again” is a coming-of-age pop song about pining for the love of someone who you are no longer in a relationship with. You miss everything about them, their touch, smell, eyes, everything, and you hope they miss you too. It’s not just hope, it’s desperation; you need them to want you as much as you want them. “I Just Wanna Be Your Lover Again” is filled with great tension and harmonies. Hearing the desperation in her voice, you just want to be their lover again, or else your heart will never be free.
